As a licenced nurse, you will be required have a temporary practitioners license through the Ugandan Medical Professional Councils. (link). Patients will need your training and expertise to treat malaria, flu, back pain, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malnutrition, respiratory tract infections, dental infections, fungal infections and diarrheal diseases, as well as any other health-related issues. Acute cases will be referred to hospital.
Volunteer will host workshops as necessary, focusing on malaria control, personal hygiene, reproductive health, HIV/AIDS prevention, nutritional best practices for expectant mothers and parents, and dental hygiene.

2+ years of professional experience in the field
Basic English language skills
Some HIV/AIDS knowledge
Experience working with diverse populations
