Pharmacist

With the heavy workload that a single Ugandan doctor faces, it’s nearly impossible to do the right thing without a team of people, of which the pharmacist is one. Pharmacists ensure that patients get the right medication at the right time, helping their recovery and educating them in the process.


Volunteer Requirements:

  • Required documents  and paperwork for registration to acquire a temporary practicing license from Medical Professional Councils of Uganda

  • 2+ years of professional experience in the field

  • Basic English language skills

  • Some HIV/AIDS knowledge

  • Experience working with diverse populations

  • Knowledge and skills working in a team effort

  • Must maintain confidentiality regarding organization and constituent information

  • Interest in international development

  • Must bring own computer

  • Must commit to raising $2049.00 for program cost
